About

Lane4 Swimmer is a swimming progression program built by 2016 Olympian, Kat Simonovic. The program includes highly technical private lessons, seminars, and strategic mentoring, designed to take your swimming to the next level.

Lane4 represents the fastest swimmer of any event and this well-rounded program was built with the intention of getting you there. The combination of highly technical in-water adjustments and mentorship resources creates a dual approach to offer you a new perspective that coaches can’t always offer.

Together, we will work at one of our two locations (North Chicago and Naperville) for a 60min private lesson where you will learn drills and sequences that Kat has gathered for 15 years from some of the best coaches around the world. We will also work to develop seasonal goals, race strategies, and other key insights on how to maximize your success in the pool.

It takes more than showing up to practice to be at the top of the sport. Lane4 is here to help with the learning that happens in between two lane lines and more importantly, between two ears.

The Founder, Olympian Kat Simonovic

Kat Simonovic was born to Serbian parents who immigrated to the United States in pursue of the American Dream, and met in Arizona. Born and raised in Mesa, Kat started competitive swimming at the age of 8 with Sun Devil Aquatics. From there, her swimming career looked something like the chart below, finishing her career as a 2016 Olympian and NCAA Finalist representing ASU.

With over 15 years of experience as a swimmer and nearly 10 years as a coach, she believes that she can offer more to the swimming community than most other resources. Taking a swimming career from recreational, through high school teams, collegiate levels, world championship exposure, and the ultimate dream: The Olympic Games, provides the knowledge base that is considered top 1% in the world.

She was coached by some of the world’s best coaches and former swimmers: Bob Bowman, Dan Kesler, Misty Hyman, Michael Phelps, Melissa Belote-Ripley and Nick Brunelli (to name a few) and many others.

But Kat’s vision is much more broad than technical stroke advancements. She hopes to inspire athletes and help them ultimately build their character. Partner with her, and your swimmer will achieve so much more than best times.
